Emiel Nillezen
Emiel Nillezen is the Managing Director of Ibérica-Estates and has over 20 years of experience in Spain. As the founder and a certified API Real Estate Agent, Emiel ensures that our buying and selling clients receive professional advice from start to finish. His academic journey began at the Hotel Management School in Leeuwarden, where he graduated in 1999, followed by further specialisation in Leisure and Tourism at Wageningen University in 2000 and 2001.
Emiel's professional career has been varied, with experience in the hotel industry on Aruba and in various banking and financial institutions in the Netherlands and Spain. A polyglot, Emiel is fluent in Dutch, English, German and Spanish.
In 2015, Emiel founded the real estate agency Ibérica-Estates. Over the past 9 years, Emiel and his team have successfully assisted more than 400 clients of 17 nationalities to buy or sell property in Spain.
Ann-Sofie Meuris
Ann-Sofie Meuris has been an integral part of Ibérica-Estates since 2020. Originally from Flanders, she swapped Antwerp for a sun-kissed career in Spain in 2017. Ann-Sofie is a proud graduate of Thomas More University of Applied Sciences in Mechelen, Belgium, where she honed her skills in design and interior styling, graduating in 2014 with a focus on spatial planning, photography and graphic design.
Her passion for interiors and architecture led her to the property sector. As Office Manager, Ann-Sofie is responsible for the daily operational and administrative tasks of our office. She also excels as a content manager, keeping the Ibérica-Estates website up to date with professional property listings.
Ann-Sofie's extensive knowledge of the Spanish property market also sees her accompany clients on their house-hunting adventures, often in the form of multi-day viewings along the Costa Blanca or Costa Cálida.
In addition, Ann-Sofie manages our Facebook business page, a hub of informative content where we also feature a new property listing each week.

Jeroen de Vaan
Jeroen started working at our estate agency in 2023. His heart belongs not only to Spain, but also to the enchanting Helena. Together they reside in the vibrant heart of the southern Costa Blanca, in the palm-fringed town of Elche.
As our esteemed Listing Manager, Jeroen is the maestro of handpicking new homes and residential developments for our portfolio. His quest for excellence takes him to all three regions where Ibérica-Estates operates. Thanks to his work and the resulting contacts, Jeroen has built up an extensive network within the Spanish construction industry.
Jeroen is always the first to know about new housing projects. His job takes him far and wide, giving him a wealth of regional knowledge - a treasure trove he generously shares with our clients in their search for their perfect home. Jeroen enjoys doing viewings with clients and pointing out the most beautiful bays, the whitest beaches and the best local restaurants. Jeroen has a fascinating story to tell about every town, city block and quaint Costa Blanca neighbourhood he takes his clients to see.
In addition, Jeroen greatly enhances the appeal of our online photo and video presentations. The Ibérica-Estates YouTube channel is bursting with fascinating and informative videos, all thanks to his creative vision.
